Tamara Tucker, founder of the firm, is a professional with 20 years of experience in the recruiting and sales industry. She maintains a broad network of acquaintances, colleagues and friends within both the search profession and the corporate community. She draws from local, regional and national resources. She regards this network of contacts, combined with her years of experience in the executive search field and her acquired knowledge of research techniques, as the most valuable asset she brings to any assignment. Tamara holds a bachelor's degree in business from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale.
ABACUS Recruiting’s Executive Division started out of Tamara's home, focusing on accounting and financial management positions in the St. Louis area. In the late '90s, the market exploded with many upper level accounting needs due to the year 2000 project. In 1997, ABACUS added an additional recruiter and moved its offices to Creve Coeur, MO. Today, the company has four employees, including three recruiters. RubinBrown purchased ABACUS in 2004 in order to provide its clients with upper management level staffing. Tamara Tucker was retained to manage the operation. ABACUS Recruiting has tripled in size and continues to hire experienced recruiters.
Paul Iadevito joined ABACUS Recruiting in 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in the executive recruiting and sales industries. He began his recruiting career with a national firm and then brought that experience to ABACUS to continue assisting local, regional and national companies with their recruiting needs.
Paul has cultivated relationships with small, privately held organizations along with large, publicly traded companies and enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to both his client companies and candidates. His recruiting specialty areas include accounting, finance, human resources and administration. Paul holds a bachelor’s degree from Truman State University.
