Senior Accountant - Manufacturing

A well-respected company, in the Belleville area, is searching for a Senior Accountant to come on board and assist them with the accounting and leadership that they need to continue growing. This position is newly created and will allow the right candidate to make an immediate impact on the organization and facilitate growth not only for the business, but also, for their career.   

For this opportunity, a candidate will need to be degreed in accounting/finance or similar field, 3+ years of experience, accounting/analysis, strong systems and enjoy working in a “hands-on” role with a variety of professionals in a dynamic environment. Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities:
-         Day to day accounting activities
-         Cost accounting
-         Month end close
-         Variance analysis
-         Assist with inventory

Requirements:
-         Degree in accounting/finance or similar field
-         3+ years of experience
-         Strong day to day accounting to include month end and assist with audits
-         Basic experience in cost accounting and variance analysis is highly preferred
-         Strong systems experience
-         Excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with a variety of professionals 
-         Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory
