A highly regarded financial institution, located in West County, is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join their team. This individual will be responsible for attending to both employee and applicant inquiries as well as collaborating with different departments within the company. Ensuring workplace accommodations and compliance standards are met is another key function. This is a 5-month consulting opportunity looking for a mid-February start date and the strong possibility of extension or turning into a permanent position.
• Managing compliance with workplace laws
• Interacting with employees and leaders on a daily basis
• Coordinating and evaluating requests
• Documenting records regarding medical and leave programs
• Consulting with key decision makers
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or 5+ years of experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Engaging and conversational personality
• Attention to detail and resourcefulness
• Strong understanding of ADA and FMLA laws
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Analytical and Critical thinking skills
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
• PHR/SPHR certification
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft
