Corporate Controller

A well respected company, in the West St. Louis/St. Charles metro area, is searching for a Corporate Controller to come on board, join their management team and assist with leading their organization. This opportunity will allow the right candidate to make an immediate impact and will be taking over for a long-tenured leader.     

For this opportunity, a candidate will need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance, have 7+ years of progressive experience, experience with technical accounting and finance, operations, analysis and reporting, strong systems experience, and enjoy working with a variety of professionals. Experience in public accounting and the automotive dealership industry is highly preferred.  

Responsibilities:
-    Provide oversight for day to day accounting and finance activities
-    Month/year end close
-    Analysis and reporting
-    Process improvement initiatives
-    Develop and maintain policies and controls
-    Special projects
-    Team supervision

Requirements:
-    Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance
-    7+ years of progressive experience in an accounting role
-    Public accounting and automotive dealership experience highly preferred
-    Advanced degree and/or a CPA is a plus  
-    Strong technical accounting and finance experience
-    Good team leader
