Senior Accountant

A very reputable company, in the St. Louis area, is looking for a Senior Accountant to complete their team. They are looking for that candidate that will, not only, be able to take on the responsibilities of this position now, but also, grow with their team in the future. This opportunity provides a strong leadership team, career stability and growth.
Potential candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field, 2+ years of experience in accounting – experience with AP, AR, fixed assets, assist with month-end close. Good systems experience and a solid internal drive are important. If you are a staff-level professional in public accounting, wanting to make your move to industry, this is for you!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with month/year end closing
• AP and AR
• Reconciliations
• General ledger
• Fixed assets
• Assist with process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field
• 2+ years of experience
• Experience assisting with month/year end, AP and AR, reconciliations and general ledger
• Good personality with strong communication skills
• Someone who enjoys being a solid team player
