Heart of Downtown real estate investor is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee all financial activities of the firm. This is a key member of the management team and will report directly to the President and CEO. Thrive and be your best in a hybrid office culture. Responsibilities include:

· Oversee investments of financial deposits and maximize return

· Develop financial models to estimate return on investment

· Manage the year end production of audited financial statements, the related tax returns and the production of consolidated financial statements

· Be highly skilled in communications with management and proactive in managing relationships with our investors

· Supervise the work of the Accounting Manager

· Provide comprehensive business analysis and decision support directly to the CEO

· Responsible in broad terms for identifying issues, risks and opportunities existing in the funds accounting and financials and communicating directly to CFO

· Prepare and present quarterly and annual financial reports to the Company’s board of directors and committees.

Qualifications include:

  • Experience in not for profit, financial institution or real estate
  • Accounting/Financial career that shows progression
  • CPA
  • BSBA (or equivalent), in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years experience involving quantitative, financial, and business analysis
  • Superior written/verbal communication skills
  • Excellent spreadsheet skills
